The television program will be based on the novel Hero by openly gay film producer Perry Moore. The main character, Thom Creed, has the power to heal people by laying his hands on them. In my opinion the novel is a little predictable, real comic fans might get annoyed with it’s golden-aged cheesiness, and Perry Moore makes the main character so self centered and stereotypically hyper masculine, it’s hard to relate to him.
