A new battle looms for gays who want to serve in the National Guard. A lawmaker in Virginia wants to introduce a bill that would prevent gays from serving in the state’s National Guard. Delegate Bob Marshall made some very controversial remarks, saying gay troops would be a distraction from war because they may choose to sexually assault a guard member. Marshall hopes to introduce the bill in January. Gay rights groups are speaking out against the remarks.

I can’t believe the policians that are in charge of running this show are so ignorant. This is like saying men and women serving in the military will rape each other. Get a grip.
