Presbyterians need to realize that many, many of the other-sex marriages that are performed in Presbyterian churches do not honor God nor the Presbyterian Church, and many of the pastors also do not honor God nor their church when they do not honor their marriage vows! The Gay couples I know honor God in their relationships and marriages. I think the Presbyterian councils would better serve God by monitoring the number of ordained heterosexual ministers who have affairs every year. Honoring God is a choice – being homosexual is not.
