MLK’s Niece Likens Same-Sex Marriage to Genocide

Alveda King, a niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., spoke at a rally for the antigay National Organization for Marriage and said that same-sex marriage would lead to “extinction” and called it “genocide.” King, who heads King for America, addressed a rally Saturday in Atlanta that was outnumbered by counter-protesters, according to the Georgia Voice.

    Coretta is not smiling on her from heaven. Alveda is going to have to answer for her hatefulness one day and it ain’t gonna be pretty.

    But doesn’t everyone deserve their right to be against gay rights? Doesn’t it say in the Bible very clearly that men should not lay down with men? Same for women? Seem’s that if anyone says anything against gay rights, then you’re all pissed off. Hey, don’t be mad, just respect others opinions whether you agree or not. That’s all of our rights, not just ‘gay’ rights.

    Alveda is speaking her mind. But don’t give her the credentials and titles of her Uncle & Aunt who have stood up against Black prejudice and unequality and also for the gay community.
    The NOM “Free Bus Drive Around the Country” isn’t getting anywhere and they are trying to find anyone who may help there antiquated socio-blabber!
