It's the attitude that because one is queer they have to suddenly be liberal. Bullshit. Why? What we do with our genitals has nothing to do with how we believe policy should be carried out. Sometimes the selfish good for the individual supersedes that of the many, but in some cases, it isn't that important. For me, as a true moderate independent, I could give a rat's ass about marriage, I'm more into equality than "rights," for anyone, and would rather lower taxes and the ability to defend myself (see "Pink Pistols,")... ...since McCain isn't a religious Nazi, therefore isn't making anyone a secondary citizen. it would just be natural that those of us with less-than-Liberal views might vote this way, or even *gasp* be a gay republican. I love being gay and voting republican. It shows I'm not a follower in gay society, think for myself and rely less on hypothetical and emotional reactions and stick to reality. By choice, thank you.
