Italy’s central-northern Tuscany region launched an ad campaign earlier today with a controversial poster to fight homophobia. The poster shows a newborn baby with ‘homosexual’ written on the wristband along with the slogan “sexual orientation is not a choice.” While conservative religious groups have complained that the ad is “dishonest,” Italy’s leading gay rights group, ArciGay, says it supports the initiative.
