These soldiers can be blackmailed for their "extra curicular activities" while overseas. If a soldier is gay and can live as a gay, they cannot be blackmailed so the security risk is nil. There are many gays serving proudly and honorably in the military. Let them serve without living in fear of being discharged. Discrimination should not be allowed whether military or civilian. Hardly. Let's re-phrase the issue: Obama is asking for flexibility on National Security. If these men and women are protecting our country and protection of "AMERICA" IS THE NUMBER ONE GOAL - then nothing short of a full repeal is putting national security first!
