Dead Soldier’s Father Must Pay Anti-Gay Protesters
The father of a US Marine killed in Iraq in 2006 has been ordered to pay 16,000 dollars to the preacher who organized an anti-gay protest during his son’s funeral, an attorney has said. On the day of the funeral in Maryland in 2006 for the young soldier killed in combat aged 20, Baptist preacher Fred Phelps and several members of his family organized a busy demonstration just a few meters (feet) away from the private religious ceremony.

Though I myself am not gay I am a strong supporter. That said I am disgusted that this would even happen. If your freedom of speech is so important to you it should not matter who is fighting and dying to preserve it. You might not like them but they are dying for you. If you can not respect them enough then to at least allow their families to mourn then you have no right to complain for your rights and should get the F. out of America.
