A Roman Catholic bishop in northeastern Pennsylvania wants a Catholic university to close a multicultural center because it hosted a visit by a gay-rights advocate. When will people get the message: the Catholic Church is a repressive organization that seeks to think for its members.
I suspect that my friend, Randy, is right: organized religions will be obsolete by 2050. They just don’t get it. People can think for themselves. They can live moral lives just because it’s the right thing to do and choose to believe in god in addition.
