Alameda School Board Adopts Respect-Gays Class

The Alameda school board narrowly adopted an elementary school anti-bully curriculum Tuesday night intended to teach respect for gay and lesbian families and students. Cheers erupted in Alameda City Hall as the school board completed its 3-2 vote, becoming one of only a handful of Bay Area school districts – including those in San Francisco, Hayward and San Leandro – to specifically mention respect for lesbians and gays in its curriculum. Teachers will begin to use the words “lesbian” and “gay” in fourth-grade classes.

    Oh i feel so terrible for the christian fundamentalists and the Mormon and Catholic churches.

    Their little kids will be taught not to hate in the name of God.

    Maybe we will have a lot less little hitlers (he was catholic btw).

    And the hate churches will dwindle and die off over time, as people realize that they are THE supreme corruption of the meaning of God, and Jesus Life on Earth
