Suspect in Gay Hate-Crime Arrested at Airport

The suspected wanted in connection with a serious assault on a gay London man was arrested at the London International Airport, Thursday evening (Sept. 24). Police said Alexander Myros, 22, suspected in what police are calling a hate crime against , Brandon Wright, 22, earlier this month, was arrested at the London airport and is scheduled to appear in court Friday (Sept. 25). The incident, which occurred Sept. 8 just after 11:30 a.m. on Kipps Lane near Belfield Street, was thrown into the spotlight when the national gay men’s website, Xtra.ca, reported the incident as a hate crime, Sept. 14.
